DESCRIPTION:It’s going to be another wet Wisconsin night!\n\n\n\nWe’re pressing on… So where your rubbers! A little (or a lot) of rain won’t dampen our parade. Celebration on the Shore will proceed as planned\, even with rain expected throughout the day. The event will take place beneath tents\, and we’ll have plenty of umbrellas available. The dress code has been updated to rainy day chic\, so feel free to pair your favorite galoshes with comfortable clothing for the evening. \n\n\n\nEvent Schedule \n\n\n\n5:00 pm — Cocktail Hour & First Floor Tours of the Frank Allis HouseEnjoy music by The Honey Pies\, cocktails\, and appetizers. Explore the first floor of the house and browse the silent auction tent. Here’s the link so you can bid early (and often). \n\n\n\n6:45 pm — Golden Hour Toast & DinnerAfter a sunset toast\, head to the tent for a delicious dinner catered by Chef Dave and a program emceed by the always wonderful John Stofflet. If it’s raining during the toast\, we’ll move inside the dinner tent. \n\n\n\n7:00 pm — Program BeginsWe’ll keep you at the edge of your seat with the Heads & Tails game\, live auction\, and paddle raise. You don’t want to miss the live auction… We’re selling a 3-night stay in the Sky Scape Domes at the Grand Canyon for 5 AND Winner’s Choice\, 5 nights in Europe for a party of 2 to the highest bidders. Certainly\, you need a getaway. AND\, thanks to Don’s Home Furniture\, we’re also auctioning off a 15-month sponsorship of Adirondack chairs\, complete with your name or message\, at San Damiano Park… Wouldn’t it be nice to have your own seat at the park? \n\n\n\n9:00 pm — Post-Program Cocktail HourThe silent auction closes at 9:15 pm and checkout begins. Enjoy acoustic favorites from The Honey Pies Duo\, gather by the fire (weather permitting) or enjoy another tour of the house\, take in the nighttime view\, and visit the bar. \n\n\n\nParking & Shuttle Service \n\n\n\nOnsite parking is reserved for accessible parking\, vendors\, and volunteers. Please park at Monona Grove High School and take our complimentary shuttle to San Damiano Park. We’ll put up a tent at the high school\, where the shuttle will pick you up.  \n\n\n\nAttire: Rainy Day Chic \n\n\n\nFeel free to leave the cocktail attire at home. With the weather\, we’re encouraging casual\, comfortable clothing suited for a rainy outdoor evening. Enjoy dinner from the food cart or bring your own. Partake in free lawn games with family and friends. Relax with live music as you take it all in. \n\n\n\nLawn games (bags\, bocce\, ladder toss\, connect 4\, croquet\, and giant Jenga)\, along with a different food cart option and live music each month will surely enhance your monthly experience of the best sunset in Dane County.  \n\n\n\nIn October\, join us for Rich Kessler\, a classic rock\, blues and country musician. \n\n\n\nJakarta Café will vend food. DESCRIPTION:Let’s celebrate!\n\n\n\nFeaturing Rachelle & the Red Hot Rattlers\, VO5\, and special guests… You’re invited to a festival open to everyone\, celebrating local musician sexagenarians of 1966! \n\n\n\nBring a chair and/or blanket to enjoy live music and the party on Saturday\, Oct. 17 from 2 to 6pm. The event will be held rain or shine. \n\n\n\nFood carts include Mi Casa Es Tu Casa\, The Original Steaks and Hoagies\, Mom’s Touch (Naan Stop Fusion’s sister truck with same menu)\, and Pota Madre. \n\n\n\nBeer and non-alcoholic beverages will be served by the Friends of San Damiano. \n\n\n\nArrival via Madison Metro\, bicycle\, and feet strongly encouraged. Vehicles can park in the Monona Grove High School lot and ride the shuttle until 7pm (vehicles must be cleared out of Monona Grove High School lot by 7pm). If you park on side streets\, please respect parking regulations.
